2021, A Zoom Season
This past year has been a blur, hasn't it? The shutdowns, the constant changes in who we were able to meet and how, and then the hope of vaccinations becoming a reality and the world starting to slowly open again, like a flower after the harshest of winters. Jubilate has been weathering this storm alongside you all, meeting on Zoom each week to keep our voices exercised and our music fresh. It's been a struggle for us all, and we miss each other dearly, but we're hopeful that the widening spread of vaccination will soon allow us to start performing again! In our current political and social climate, restarting what we do is more important now than ever. We can be agents of peace and connection by following our mission "take music to those who need it" and spread the love of God through song. The whole world needs music! As president of Jubilate Sacred Singers, my vision for this year is to re-engage with those we have lost touch with and spread our reach wider to those who need our ministry. Thank you for trusting me to lead the group this year and throughout the pandemic. I am grateful for the opportunity and hope I can serve and represent Jubilate at the level this organization deserves. Yours in Song, Bruce Rose, President
